Here at TMS Motorsport, we stock a wide range of StopTech brakes, brake kits, axle packs, brake pads, brake rotors, brake lines, fluid and racing calipers – all processed from our UK store.
StopTech are proud of their history in motorsport. Founded in 1999, they set out to become a leading manufacturer of components for sport and race cars.
We are such big fans of the StopTech parts that we use StopTech brakes on our own 'Project Moff' Race Car
StopTech’s big brake kits feature a couple of enhancements over their competitors, giving them increased performance. Firstly, the bigger rotors provide drivers with a harder brake and a reduction in fading. Secondly, stiffer calipers and stainless steel lines reduce system compliance, providing consistent pedal feel and confidence-inspiring responsiveness.

StopTech manufacture brake calipers, brake rotors (discs) and big brake kits for a large selection of sports and race cars.
StopTech was founded 1999 with a mission too become the leading manufacturer and supplier of high performance brakes. They have a passion for racing and high performance vehicles.
StopTech is the first aftermarket brake company to offer balanced front brake upgrades, engineered and designed to improve overall braking performance while remaining compatible with the stock OEM front and rear brakes. This has significantly advanced the state of art in aftermarket brake upgrades.
StopTechare now a worldwide leader in Balanced Brake Upgrades for production cars, with nearly 300 available applications. The company consistently wins braking contests performed by independant publications.
StopTech engineers and manufactures high performance brake disc rotors, calipers, DOT compliant stainless steel lines, and brake upgrade systems for the racing and performance street markets. The company distributes OEM aftermarket disc rotors, brake pads and brake fluid. StopTech's ST-40 and ST-60 calipers are manufactured using a squeeze-forged process.
Caliper bodies, hats, and brackets are machined to ISO standards using the latest CNC machines that feature active tooling. Their manufacturing facilities are based in California.
Advantages of StopTech over other brake upgrades:
Firmer Brake Pedal
Shorter Stopping Distances
Better Brake Modulation
Less Brake Fade
Feature Benefit Summary:
Balanced Brake Upgrades with optimum brake bias offer the shortest stopping distance with the best pedal feel
Patented AeroRotors with the best airflow available result in better cooling, less fade and longer rotor and pad life
The stiffest aftermarket calipers with patented bridge result in better clamping under hard braking and less pad taper
Track testing of new applications ensures optimum performance.
StopTech Big Brake Kits are the ultimate high performance brake upgrades, giving vehicles that supercar performance, look and feel.
StopTech Big Brake Kits offer superior street performance.
They feature fully forged calipers with patented stiffening bridges, patented 2-piece AeroRotors® for optimized cooling, braided stainless steel brake lines, performance brake pads, mounting brackets and all necessary hardware to complete the installation. StopTech® Big Brake Kits were the first Balanced Brake Upgrades® on the market, offering optimized brake bias to utilize all the traction available from all four tires.
Trophy Big Brake Kits
For ultimate track racing performance StopTech offers Trophy Race Big Brake Kits, with naturally anodized lightweight components designed to survive the rigors of racing. Trophy Kits feature fully forged, lightweight STR calipers, 2-piece AeroRotors®, braided stainless steel brake lines, mounting brackets and hardware. The MAX Float hardware allows for the greatest amount of float between the hat and rotor. These Trophy Race Kits are used on many of the top competitors in the SCCA Pro Pirelli World Challenge Championship as well as in Grand-Am and other race series.
Ultimate street performance is obtained with a StopTech Trophy Sport Big Brake Kit. The Trophy Sport Big Brake Kits are designed for street driven production vehicles and use the same STR calipers, AeroRotors and AeroHats as the Trophy Race Big Brake Kits, but add silicone dust boots to extend service intervals and anti-rattle rotor mounting hardware for quieter street operation. Trophy Sport Kits also include StopTech® Street Performance brake pads for high performance street and occasional track use. They are the ultimate street braking system.
Touring Big Brake Kits
StopTech Touring Kits offer the best performance from a 1-piece rotor upgrade system. Designed for street driven production vehicles, Touring Kits include the same forged 2-piece calipers as the StopTech Big brake Kits, as well as StopTech Stainless Steel Brake Lines, StopTech Street Performance Brake Pads, application-specific caliper brackets and hardware. The difference is in the use of larger than stock 1-piece rotors, which offer the most value to those seeking better performance than their factory setup.
Patented AeroRotors and AeroHats that offer up to 61% greater airflow
StopTech has developed several design innovations to improve rotor airflow. The patented 2-piece AeroRotors push more air thanks to curved, airfoil-shaped vanes and an air channel that widens at the trailing edge of the vanes. StopTech aluminum AeroHats are lighter, and feature directional stand-offs between the rotor and mounting hat that increase airflow to the (hotter) outside face of the rotor by over 15%.
Benefits of StopTech® AeroRotors® and AeroHats:
Specifically engineered and patented AeroVanes for optimum cooling
Optimized to provide even performance and consistent feedback
Longer pad and rotor life...
StopTech Big Brake Kit AeroRotors are available in these sizes, depending on application (in millimeters):
Required Pre-Purchase Fitment Check: Vehicle-specific wheel fitment templates for StopTech Big Brake Kits
To help identify whether your existing wheels will fit over a StopTech big brake kit, download the wheel fitment template for your vehicle and follow the instructions to verify clearance before you purchase. While wheel clearance is completely dependent on the diameter, offset and spoke design of your wheels, a general guideline is that StopTech kits usually require the following:
328mm rotor (12.9") - minimum 17" wheel
332mm rotor (13.1") - minimum 17" wheel
355mm rotor (14") - minimum 18" wheel
380mm rotor (15") - minimum 19" wheel
